Jamie's Heart Foundation was created in 2007 by Tim Hannah and Corina Cross in honor of their daughter Jamie Noel Hannah who passed away at the young age of 2. They knew there was a way to continue honoring the legacy of Jamie by turning an unimaginable situation into a vision that could help other families for years to come. With this vision, the Foundation was born with the mission to help families in the Pacific Northwest battling childhood heart disease through personalized support. The founders, along with a passionate Board of Directors, worked closely with Mary Bridge and Seattle Children's Hospital to offer relief on a case-by-case basis with the understanding that each family has a different story.
The impact of the Foundation over the 12 years was evident not only in the aid offered to families, but also the community support. From blanket drives to golf tournaments, the community and donors allowed Jamie's Heart to offer both financial and emotional support to the families going through the trials and tribulations of CHD.
Today, a new generation has continued honoring Jamie by revitalizing the Foundation and taking it to new heights. The vision of offering personalized support to families remains the same, but we look to expand in order to reach more families. Starting with an expansion to the Dallas Area, the Foundation will continue honoring the courage and fight of Jamie. Jamie's impact has no boundaries.
